IKLAND

Az év legnagyobb holdja.- Supermoon-

A tegnap szinte nem értünk ki Iklandra Beatrixal. Próbáltam visszaemlékezni tavalyról, hol kelhet fel a Hold, úgy tegyem le az állványt, hogy a két templom közt jelenjen meg. 

Yesterday we almost didn't make it to Ikland with Beatrix. I tried to remember the place where the Moon has risen last year and place the tripod to show it appear between the two church-towers.

Vártuk a telehold felkelését a „ golfpályán”, tudtam, később lesz mint a tegnap, de nem gondoltam, hogy a nap nem várja meg az égen, mire megjelent a nagy narancs sárga búbja a holdnak, besötétedett, rétet, és a barátaimat nem sütötte fényével, de a Holdnak biztosan integetett, annyira nagy, kövér, mosolygós volt. Örömömben elkezdtem ugrálni mint nagyon rég gyermekkoromban.Nem tudtuk, hogy holdfogyatkozás van, esti búcsúzkodásuk közé áll a Föld.

We were on the “golf course” in Ikland waiting for the full moon to rise. I knew it was going to happen later than last night but I got surprised that the Sun sat before the Moons huge orange cap appeared. Darkness fell, the Sun didn’t shine on the field or my friends but I’m sure it waved to the big, fat, smiling Moon. I was so happy I started jumping just as I used to a very long time ago, in my childhood. We didn't realize there was a Moon eclipse so the Earth stood in the way of their evening fairwell
